We&Co: A Different Kind of Networking Organization

A Different Kind of Networking Organization

Imagine moving back to Springfield, MO, a world away from the bustling business scenes of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where you’ve spent a decade as a successful and happy entrepreneur. Everything from being published in magazines featured on both television and radio shows, and having one of the top ten podcasts downloaded on iTunes was Jana Moreno’s world. Unfortunately, that world was turned upside down after she faced some major personal dilemmas. She decided to bring her 7-year-old back to her middle-to-high school stomping grounds, all to be closer to her mother and sisters. This was the crossroads faced by We&Co’s founder which eventually would lead to a brighter future.

Homecoming and A New Struggle

Back in the Midwest, Jana found herself as a single mother without a strong professional network, a scenario that many other professionals likely empathize with. Jana’s struggle was compounded by a failed romantic relationship, the culprit of her move, and the stunning revelation that a family member had committed identity theft, leaving her in debt to the tune of $300,000. The good news is that though it was a difficult time, the emotional and mental distress was soon transmuted into her business which benefits professionals both near and far.

An Entrepreneurial Spirit

Despite the adversity, Jana clung tightly to her entrepreneurial spirit and decided to focus on building her professional network, building her business, all while raising her daughter. It didn’t take long for her to recognize that many professionals, like herself, experienced the pain point of lacking a solid referral team to bolster their sales and business growth.

As a few years went by, she grew her professional network and was finally feeling like she could come out on top – that is, until COVID hit. She watched her business screech to a halt and lost all of her valuable contracts with businesses both locally and internationally. During the quarantine, she wondered, “What if there’s a better way to network?” She pondered a way that could help professionals build their ideal referral network, cultivate relationships, save time, and increase their income.

Facing professional challenges can often lead to creative solutions, and this held true for Jana. After listing out all the pros and cons of the networking groups she frequented, her brain started racing. She was frustrated with the lack of results from local traditional networking organizations and was feeling burned out, so she sought to create a new kind of networking organization and automated platform.

We&Co: A New Kind of Networking Organization

In July 2020, the concept became a reality. We&Co was launched: a modern response to traditional networking organizations. It was founded on principles of sustainable success:

  1. “How you do one thing is how you do most things,”
  2. “For things to change, first I must change,”
  3. “The only failure is the failure to participate,” and
  4. “Results never lie.”

We&Co’s Core Principles: Navigating Success

One of the most important of the sustainable success principles is responsibility. When a person lives in responsibility, they live life above the line. Below the line is a way for people to stay stuck in the same old results they’ve been experiencing.

We&Co’s Core Principle

Lastly, We&Co’s core principle is that of sustainable success: whatever endeavors a person enters into, it has to be four things:

  • right for you,
  • right for me,
  • right for us, and
  • right for all.

We&Co is not about being the fastest-growing networking organization – it’s about participating in the personal and professional growth of people who are humble, hungry, and emotionally intelligent.

In short, We&Co is more than just a networking organization. It’s a place where professionals can build their ideal referral network, save time, make more money, and track their success on an automated platform. This platform enables members to effortlessly manage the referrals they pass and receive, adding a new level of transparency and accountability to the networking process. This was a game-changer for the professional community in Springfield, MO, and beyond.

We&Co’s Platform: Tracking Success

What sets We&Co apart from traditional networking organizations is its bi-monthly one-hour Huddle meeting for members, and also, its automated platform. It’s the modern answer to professionals who want to save time, make more money, and be able to track their success. The We&Co platform allows members to monitor the referrals they pass and receive, providing measurable results and ensuring that the time and effort invested in networking activities are worthwhile.

Huddles: Bi-Monthly Hour-Long Meetings

Instead of offering weekly meetings in large groups of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, each Huddle meets twice a month for an hour, and the groups are smaller – around 8-12 people in each group that shares the same target audience but offers different products and services. This not only minimizes overlap that happens in traditional networking groups, but it also addresses the time commitment issues some professionals face when joining a networking group.

Additionally, the topics covered in the Huddle meeting include discussing how the group can

  1. get in front of their ideal target audience as a group
  2. bring their target audience to them and
  3. get each other in front of pre-existing networks and clientele.

They also set professional goals and put into place accountability measures so the members can grow both personally and professionally.

Building an Ideal Referral Network with We&Co

We&Co is not just another networking organization. It’s a place where professionals can build their ideal referral network. Networking is about more than just meeting people. It’s about building strong relationships, giving and receiving valuable referrals, and ultimately growing your book of business. We&Co offers just that and more to its members. It’s a community where each member’s success is everyone’s success.
